I love the videos. I wondered if you have a video on an issue I have in the Media Page > Add Folder (Create Bins) ua-cam.com/video/VfdbwDWDR6I/v-deo.html I want to import the SFX folders I have, but resolve won't recognize any files that are "read only" and I can't change that. Have you encountered this?

Right now I use final cut pro. I usually do this sound edit to my entire clip just before export. I turn my time line in to a compound clip. Export the audio. Adjust in adobe audition, including the LUFS......best part is I don't have to sit through my entire video, audition will do this in about 15 seconds. But I'm still going to give Davinci a try.

What sucks about the subclips is you lose the ends of them. It would be nice if you could extend past them like how it is in Final Cut

When I try to bounce the audio track it's giving me an error of "no intervals", does anyone have a solution for that? 😕

Hey. I'm new here, coming from Premiere :-) Lot of great tips, thanx a lot. I like to work with shortcuts and I didn't found a way to trim without my pen (or mouse) I found a way to select the tail or the head of a cut, and to add or remove frames with "," and "." but I loose the audio scrub. And I can't use the J,K,L keys (or command J,K,L keys) to trim/ Any idea how to solve that ? Thanx.

I film FPV single shot fly thru home tours and I really want to add tracked text to different walls and areas in the house, but because the shots have fast and dynamic movements I can't get the text to stick. Hi Chadwick. What's confusing me is when the Media Page still "views" multiple clips (after applying Detect Scene Cuts in Edit Page) as basically clones of the source video, so essentially a 5 second clip is still a 2 hour movie to the Media Page! When I view a clip as a vid thumbnail in the Media Page, it should show just that scene cut, not be a scroll thru the entire source film footage! Can this be fixed by applying something to multiple clips at once? Thanks for listening.

anyone else having trouble assigning back and forward buttons to shift + [ and shift + ] , i can assign the buttons but when I press them davinci doesn't recognize it :(

So I synced a project from my client's pc and after editing on my pc entirely I wanted to render it out for my client but it says the files are offline. It only renders when I open the project in client's pc. Need help.

QQ: i see my microphone register sounds on my macbook pro system settings for input yet when i arm my a2 track to record additional VO on same track i recorded on yesterday, the dVinci sound bars arent registering sound. As if that track is muted? Ive tried recording a few times but no sound - help me Obi Wan... youre my only hope! 😢

i am a Highly experienced user of Cubase Pro DAW .. you can import video's after editing and master the audio in there instead ..it can analyzes you LUFS in seconds no need to do the entire video for results .it's also one of the FEW DAW that has LUFS built in for Free no addon plugin you need to pay for like others .when done you can then replace the Audio on the video. YEs Dan Vince can use VST plugins but you will be far better in a DAW

I know this may be silly, but I trim my sound tracks old fashioned way - Audition (hard limit, noise reduction...). I hardly use Fairlight at all. Why would I? Everything I need can be done on the Edit page.

Really big help, you got a new Sub! The only problem I had was full screen timeline hot key. It did not want to work. Was glitchy and not working, maybe a display issue?
